We’re proud to announce that the Member Initiative is now live and accessible directly from the homepage of our website, under the Members Area.
This is more than just a suggestion box — it’s a new way of making sure your voice helps shape the future of Malkins Bank Golf Club. As part of our commitment to rebuilding the club through Project:Malkins, the Member Initiative puts the power of change in the hands of the people who matter most — you, the members.
What Is It?
The Member Initiative is a brand-new platform where we work closely with the club committee and our membership to identify specific topics where your ideas and feedback can drive real improvements. Whether it’s facilities, events, or features around the course, this is your chance to directly contribute.
Right now, you can visit the Member Initiative page and share your input on three live topics — which have been carefully selected.
How Does It Work?
Topics Are Chosen – Together with the committee, we select current topics based on member feedback and club priorities.
Members Submit Suggestions – You share your thoughts through a form on our website.
Top Suggestions Become Polls – We take the most applicable ideas and put them to a club-wide vote.
You Vote – Every member gets a say in shaping what comes next.
Results Are Published – We’ll share final results on the website and in our bi-weekly course updates.
Action Begins – Winning ideas move forward into planning and implementation stages.

This Is the BETA Version
Please note: this is the BETA version of the Member Initiative. Over the coming days and weeks, we’ll be refining it to improve your experience and add important features. One of our next steps will be introducing member accounts to limit access — just like many parts of the club, it’s a work in progress. Thank you for bearing with us while we continue to improve.
As of now, suggestions are open to all, allowing everyone to share their ideas for the future of Malkins Bank. However, voting will be restricted to active members only. This decision was made to honour and respect those who have stuck with the club through its most difficult period. Your loyalty will continue to help guide where we go next.
