For those looking to take it further, members have the option to join our official competitions and club rankings for an additional fee, giving you access to a more competitive edge and community engagement when you’re ready.

We’re launching the Member Initiative – a structured, ongoing way for members to be polled, questioned, and actively involved in shaping how your club evolves. From the introduction of a new ‘Golfer’s Grub’ menu section to voting on upcoming club events, signage, tee box aesthetics, and even your favourite holes – you’ll have your say. The aim? A club built by its members, for its members.

We’ll be hosting regular member-only events – from socials and bar nights to golf-based competitions and fun days. These are designed to bring the community back into the club. Keep your eyes peeled – we’ll be gathering your input through our upcoming Member Initiative to shape these around your interests.

We’ll soon be introducing our Club Points system – rewarding members for participation, spending at the clubhouse, and more. Points will be redeemable for food, drink, discounts, and exclusive member rewards. This is possible thanks to the upcoming integration of the SquareUp ePOS system.

If you wish to take part in club competitions, maintain an official WHS handicap, or register Malkins Bank as your home club with England Golf, you’ll need to join our Members Club.

The Members Club is a separate annual membership (£90 per year) and is open to both course members and non-course members. Non-course members are welcome to join but will be required to pay the applicable green fee on arrival for each competition.

Due to temporary restrictions from the council while our tenancy agreement is finalised, we are unable to offer full-year memberships at this time. As a solution, we’ve introduced a flexible monthly payment plan, allowing you to maintain your membership benefits on a rolling monthly basis. This plan will remain in place until the council lifts these restrictions, at which point full-year memberships will be reinstated.
